Adding a team member starts with an invite: your workspace admin sends one to the person's email address, and Stravax Engage emails a sign-up link good for 7 days. The recipient opens it, finishes setting up their account, and joins your workspace. If the link expires first, they can request a fresh one themselves, no admin needed.
Stravax Engage uses a different expiry window depending on what a link is for. A team invite gets the longest window, since a new teammate might not open their email the same day it arrives.
| Link type | Valid for |
|---|---|
| Team invite | 7 days |
| Password reset | 30 minutes |
| Email address change | 30 minutes |
The email itself always states the correct window for that link, so what you read in the invite matches what the system will actually accept when you click it.
While the link is still valid, opening it takes you to your account setup, where you finish joining the workspace. Once that's done, you're signed in as part of the team.
Stravax Engage checks whether your link still works before showing you anything. If it's expired, already used, or invalid, you land on a simple recovery screen instead: an email field and a "Send me a new link" button, nothing else.
Enter the email address your invite was sent to and click the button. You'll see the same confirmation message whether or not an invite is actually still pending for that address, that's deliberate, it keeps the process from confirming or denying that a particular email has an account. A fresh link, good for another 7 days, goes out only if one is genuinely waiting for you.
If the link doesn't work when you click it:
