Ad conversion sync: Meta, Google and TikTok

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Stravax Engage sends conversion signals to Meta, Google and TikTok whenever a lead in your pipeline is created, marked qualified, or converted. Each ad platform you connect receives its own signal, matched to the click or ad that started the WhatsApp conversation, so the platform's algorithm learns which campaigns actually produce real customers, not just clicks.

Why does sending conversions back to ad platforms matter?

Most WhatsApp inboxes stop at the reply: an ad platform sees a click, then nothing else. Without a conversion signal, Meta, Google and TikTok can only optimize toward clicks or messages started, which rewards volume over quality. Stravax Engage closes that loop by reporting what actually happened after the click: whether a lead came in, was qualified, and whether it converted into a paying customer. The ad platform's algorithm uses that signal to find more people who look like your real customers, not just more clicks.

Reporting sales outcomes back to Meta, Google and TikTok ad accounts, not just tracking that a click happened, is what separates ad conversion sync from ordinary pixel tracking.

Which platforms are supported?

Platform What it receives
Meta New-lead, qualified and converted events, matched to the ad's click token when the conversation started from a click-to-WhatsApp ad
Google New-lead, qualified and converted events, matched to a Google click id when available
TikTok New-lead, qualified and converted events, matched to a TikTok click id when available

Where a click id isn't available for a given lead, Stravax Engage still sends the signal using a hashed version of the contact's email or phone number, never the raw value, so the platform can match the event without your customer's contact details leaving in plain text.

Do I have to connect every platform?

No. Connecting an ad account is opt-in, per platform, per organization. If you only run Meta ads, connect Meta and leave Google and TikTok alone: no signal is ever sent to a platform you haven't connected. See Connecting your ad accounts for how to set one up.

What counts as a conversion event?

A conversion event fires when a lead is created, marked qualified, or converted. See What is a conversion event? for the full definition and how monthly allowances work.

How does Stravax Engage know which ad started the conversation?

Every conversion event is matched back to the ad or link that started the WhatsApp conversation using click-to-WhatsApp attribution or a tracked link. See Click-to-WhatsApp attribution: how it works for the mechanics, and The CTWA per-ad report to see the results per ad.
