Leads, pipelines and timelines

A lead in Stravax Engage is a record with a name, phone, email, company, and a pipeline stage. You work leads from a pipeline board with columns for each stage, every stage move and note is written to an append-only activity timeline, and a lead created from a phone number is automatically linked to the matching WhatsApp contact.

What is a lead record?

Each lead stores:

Field What it holds
Name, phone, email, company Core identity fields
Stage Where the lead sits in the pipeline (defaults to intake on creation)
Owner The team member assigned to the lead
Source How the lead arrived: manual entry, CSV import, web form, WhatsApp inbound, or an ad connector
Conversion value and currency Set when a lead is marked converted
Custom fields Extra data captured with the lead (for example, a web form's budget or interest field)

Leads are org-scoped, not tied to a single WhatsApp number, so they sit alongside your contacts and conversations as one CRM view for the whole team.

What are the pipeline stages?

The pipeline board has five columns:

Each column shows a running count of leads in that stage. The Converted column also totals converted value, grouped by currency if you close deals in more than one.

How do I read the activity timeline?

Open a lead to see its detail drawer: identity, stage, source, owner, any custom fields, and the activity timeline. The timeline is append-only and records:

Each entry is attributed to the person who made it, so the timeline reads as a full history of what happened to the lead and who acted.

How does a lead link to a conversation?

When a lead's phone number matches an existing WhatsApp contact for your organization, Stravax Engage links the two automatically at creation. The lead's detail drawer shows a "linked to a WhatsApp contact" badge next to its source, so you know the person behind the lead already has a conversation history in your inbox.

How do I manage leads day to day?

Open the CRM section from the main navigation. From the pipeline board you can:
